We did the 3 hours ATV tour and can highly recommend it. The instructors did a great job to help us learn to manage the ATV machines. In addition to the scenic drive in the mountains and along the river (watched elephants) they also took us to a myddy terrain allowing us to make some great fun with the machines. Great tour, great people, and nice base camp.
Such an awesome adventure, the guides are really helpful getting you to understand & know how to ride your ATV, all gear is supplied & have multiple sizes to suit most body types, you do a practice round near by which was 100% helpful for myself & was so awesome to see some elephants in the sanctuary near by, definitely would recommend for anyone up for an adventure & not afraid to get a little dirty or wet if it’s raining. I’m very thankful to our following supervisor (one guide riding behind the group) as he ended up helping me go down the mountain which I was abit afraid of. Would also recommend booking a massage after too as you use muscles that you don’t usually use on a day to day basis 😂😂 BOOK IT TODAY! What are you waiting for! I had the most wonderful experience with A8 Whitewater Rafting in Chiang Mai. From the very beginning, the staff went out of their way to make everything smooth and enjoyable. They picked us up directly from our hotel and were so considerate throughout the entire trip, constantly checking in, asking questions, and making sure we were comfortable. They even asked about dietary requirements before serving food, which I really appreciated. One moment that really stood out was when I accidentally left my slippers in their van. Even though the place was about 15 minutes away, the staff kindly went back just to bring them to me. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed how much they truly care about their guests. Another lovely touch was when we went for the ATV ride. On the way back, the staff had picked up fresh fruits and offered them to us, which was such a refreshing surprise. The rafting itself was handled with so much professionalism. The staff were polite, patient, and very experienced. It was actually my third time doing whitewater rafting, but this was by far the best experience I have had. There was a storm warning on the day we went, and instead of risking a longer route with high tides, they guided us through a shorter and safer section. I felt secure the entire time, and it was reassuring to know that our guide had over 12 years of experience. Overall, A8 Whitewater Rafting is not just about the adventure, but also about the warmth and kindness of the people who run it. They made the entire day feel special, safe, and full of little thoughtful touches that I will never forget.
We had e great time with 8adventures. We started with rafting. The guide was very knowledgeable and guided us safely through all the rapids. We had a lot of fun on the rapids. During the calmer sections, we enjoyed the view. After a delicious lunch, we went for a guided walk to a waterfall. The path was easy to walk, though a bit slippery at times. The guide was very knowledgeable about the jungle and amazed us with all the things he could make from materials he found in the jungle. The waterfall was wild and beautiful. I considered it a highlight of our holiday.
Amazing day—highly recommended! My kids (11&15) and I had a really fun day on the combo ATV/whitewater rafting tour. My 15yo was old enough to drive his own ATV which was obviously thrilling (for him 🤣) and the route took us through local villages and into the jungle, through muddy rivers, with the highlight being waiting for elephants to cross in front of us on multiple occasions! The rafting was fun, as well, with a good amount of rapids. All of the guides were friendly and kind and we felt safe the whole day while having a great time. The gear was excellent and amazingly clean! (So many of these tours give you helmets that are so gross you almost don’t want them on your head!) Oh, and the lunch was actually delicious!
